We're hiring a Payroll Administrator

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support to our clients' HR and Payroll team in executing payroll and HR functions for their staff. Your role will involve assisting in the preparation of pay calculations while ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and various labour law requirements. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth and accurate processing of payroll activities.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Prepare and process payroll for all supported companies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the provision of P24, P45, and other pay and pension information to clients.
  • Submit monthly S01 reports to meet statutory requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Submit annual S02 reports to meet statutory requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in testing and implementing system changes related to payroll processing.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the team's objectives and targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling payroll-related services to clients.
  • Undertake any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Prepare, input, and process all relevant payrolls, meeting cut-off times and payroll deadlines. Adapt to fluctuations in workload to ensure payroll continuity.
  • Administer all aspects of payroll, including calculations for contractual maternity pay, vacation, sick pay, etc. Process benefit payments, pay awards, incremental changes, and ad hoc payments accurately. Perform payroll reconciliation.
  • Aid, advice, and support to managers and staff regarding payroll and expenses issues. Conduct one-to-one training when required.
  • Generate statistical information and reports to fulfil business and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain a "right first time" approach to ensure high-quality work. Perform data checks and ensure compliance with accuracy and legal standards. Input variable data into the payroll system and conduct manual computations when necessary.
  • Oversee the expenses process, ensuring adherence to the expenses policy and timely payment to staff.
  • Run payroll cycles and assist in monthly and year-end filing activities.
  • Prioritize and organize workload to meet specified requirements and tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, helping as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Management Studies, or Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience.
