Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-today management of the organization.

Outdoor World N.V., in St. Maarten, official distributors of the Yamaha brand, is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to ensure the seamless and efficient functioning of our retail and warehouse operations. In this critical role, you will be the engine of our business, directly overseeing daily processes, inventory, facility management, and the sales team on the front lines. Your focus will be on driving operational excellence, maintaining high standards, and ensuring a superior customer experience through flawless execution.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily store and warehouse activities, ensuring they run smoothly, efficiently, and to company standards.
• Manage inventory levels vigilantly to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Ensure the retail facility, exterior, interior, and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Directly supervise and motivate the sales staff, ensuring compliance with operating procedures and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain effective loss prevention controls and ensure a safe work environment for all employees and customers.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

• Proven experience in an operations management role, ideally within the boating, retail, or automotive sectors.
• A strong, hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Expertise in inventory management, logistics, and daily operational workflows would be an asset.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and develop a team.
• The required legal status to work in Sint Maarten or holds a valid U.S. passport
