Position Scope:  

 

The Marketing Specialist I is responsible for enhancing the Institute’s visibility, engagement, and reputation through integrated marketing strategies. The role focuses on digital marketing, content development, brand positioning, and client outreach to support the Institute’s business objectives locally, regionally, and internationally.

 

 Key Duties And Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and email marketing tools.
  • Manage website content, search engine optimization (SEO), analytics, and user experience optimization.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content for social media channels to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor digital performance metrics and prepare analytics reports to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Manage online advertising, A/B testing, and conversion optimization.
  • Plan, produce, and edit high-quality content including blogs, case studies, newsletters, infographics, and digital assets.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos for marketing campaigns, success stories, events, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital and traditional communication channels.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare marketing feasibility studies and support market development initiatives for the Institute and its clients.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of proposals and tenders.
  • Develop and conduct customer surveys; analyze results and provide recommendations.
  • Design and execute marketing strategies for new and ongoing projects across Units.
  • Market, promote, and support the execution of seminars, conferences, workshops, and training programs hosted by the Institute.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and coordinate events and training programs for external clients.

 

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to support business growth.
  • Develop and update promotional materials, corporate brochures, and digital media content.
  • Support public relations activities, including press releases, media coordination, and corporate messaging.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and corporate identity across all platforms.
  • Ensures that all deliverables meet appropriate quality standards and HSSE standards.
  • Manages third party contributions to the various activities/ projects as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

 

 Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA), or related field is an asset.

 

 Experience:

 

  • At least five (5) years of experience in a marketing or business development environment.
  • Experience in digital marketing, content creation, and data analytics is highly desirable.

  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities etc.:

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools/platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, CRM systems, SEO tools, email marketing software, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Power Point and Access
  • Experience with photography and videography, including editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, CapCut).
  • Strong understanding of social media management and online brand building.
