Position Summary

EY Caribbean Consulting is seeking a Manager in Jamaica to support the delivery of complex transformation programmes across government and public sector clients.  You will play a key role in turning strategy into execution, working closely with senior leadership and clients directly. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong delivery capability with emerging leadership, and who is motivated by public service improvement.

The Opportunity

You will support the design and delivery of transformation initiatives that improve how public sector organisations operate and deliver services across the Caribbean region.

The role offers exposure to strategy, delivery, and client engagement, with opportunities to grow into broader leadership and commercial responsibility over time.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of projects or workstreams within transformation programmes, applying structured project and programme approaches
  • Translate strategy or requirements into practical plans, outputs, and deliverables
  • Support the design and implementation of variable solutions to client challenges
  • Contribute to programme governance, reporting, and performance tracking
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • Support the use of technology, data, and digital tools in service delivery
  • Build strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and solution development
  • Support and mentor junior team members

What we look for

Essential

  • Five to Eight years experience in consulting, advisory, or a relevant delivery environment
  • Strong projects/ transformation delivery experience, ideally in the public sector
  • Solid understanding of project and programme delivery approaches
  • Ability to analyze requirements/ problems and develop practical solutions
  • Experience working in cross-functional professional services environments
  • Strong stakeholder communication and engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • Graduate or post-graduate level of education

Preferrable

  • Experience with government or public sector transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to target operating model design or service improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting business development or proposal development
  • Familiarity with digital, data, or AI-enabled transformation
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Experience with multilateral funding organisations
