To safely operating packaging equipment to facilitate daily production targets and daily schedules as determine by production supervisor.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
• Safely operate packaging machinery in accordance with manufacturers recommendation.
• Prepare and setup packaging machinery as per daily product      
   requirement changes.
• Prepare and replace packaging film for daily change over.
• Verify printer daily codes and dates as per batch production.
• Liaise with production supervisor for daily changes as per production scheduled.
• Set up equipment for production inclusive of moving mobile packaging equipment in and out of the Packaging 
   Department. 
• Constant monitoring of the packaging equipment for any malfunction in the effort of minimize downtime.
• Perform daily cleaning and servicing of machinery in preparation for 
   incoming shift change over.
• Perform any other related functions consequential and incidental to the position.
• Ability to identify and report equipment issues in the effort of minimising downtime.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:
• Minimum of 3-O-level subject inclusive of Maths and English
• Minimum of an Electrical/instrumentation craft diploma.
• Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles, methods and techniques.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a manufacturing  environment. 
• Sound knowledge of electrical and electronic principles 
• Excellent critical thinking, operations analysis and complex problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (oral and writing).
• Must be computer literate. 
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• Capable of working on a shift basis and respond to call-out as needed.
• Must be a team player.
• Must adhere to and enforce all safety rules and good manufacturing 
   practices of the Company during the performance of his/her duties.
