The Lifeguard/Pool Attendant ensures the safety, cleanliness, and proper operation of all beach and pool areas. The role requires constant surveillance of the ocean, shoreline, and pools, enforcing rules, and responding quickly to any emergencies.
Monitor pool areas continuously to prevent accidents and unsafe behavior.
Enforce pool rules and educate guests on safety guidelines.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
Administer First Aid, CPR, AED, and Oxygen when required.
Inspect the pool area daily and report unsafe conditions.
Greet guests, provide towels, and manage towel distribution.
Keep pool areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Set up pool equipment such as chairs, cushions, and toys.
Communicate guest needs to the Director of Club Operations.
Participate in regular training sessions.
Ensure consistent monitoring of the Great House Pool at all times, including days off.
Maintain cleanliness of the pool facilities, including restrooms and changing rooms.
Maintain proper water quality through testing and chemical balancing.
Clean pool areas, decks, and filtration systems.
Use pool vacuums and nets to remove debris.
Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, filters, and pool equipment.
Complete required checklists, logs, and reports.
Safely handle, transport, and store pool chemicals.
Respond promptly to pool-related work orders.
Identify and report equipment faults or water quality issues.
Ensure all pool equipment (e.g., covers) is in good working order.
Keep pool facilities free of trash and hazards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

Supplemental oxygen administration certification from an accredited agency
