The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the organization

Our client in the East of Trinidad, Supermarket Industry is seeking to recruit an Marketing Manager for a 1 YEAR CONTRACT
Candidate is to pperate out of the Head Office, however, given the nature of the job, the candidate will be required to visit the stores frequently.
The hours of work are typically 8:00am to 4:30pm but that is extended during any promotional activities that the marketing dept. may undertake.
The salary is $13,500.00 per month with a travel allowance of $1,500.00 per month.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy and determine product branding/positioning
- Timely and effective communication of the Company’s marketing initiatives and strategies
- Plan and execute all approved promotional activity in timely fashion and in keeping with budgeted goals;
- Conduct competitive trade visits for the purpose of gathering and compiling trade market intelligence and preparing analytical reports to assist in better decision making;
- Identify trade and market opportunities with a view to expanding existing Customer base;
- Identify Customer issues/problems with a goal towards speedy resolution with constructive outcome;
- Plan and forecast all marketing related expenditures and projected returns or ROI;
- Administer the creation, monitoring and review of Company’s annual marketing strategy or roadmap;
Minimum Knowledge, skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or statistics can be advantageous
- Minimum: Two (2) years’ experience in a similar or related field
- Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Budget-management skills and proficiency
- Professional judgment and discretion
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in retail food industry, and social and digital media
