The Digital Strategist and Campaigns analyst will work with the Digital Marketing and BI Manager to develop organic and paid social digital strategies, amplify our content, and evolve our social media strategy.

The Digital Strategist and Campaigns analyst will work with the Digital Marketing and BI Manager to develop organic and paid social digital strategies, amplify our content, and evolve our social media strategy.  
The ideal candidate will be fluent across channels such as owned, paid, social, web, and email marketing, their respective content format types, and have proven experience in developing effective distribution strategies across these surfaces.

S/he helps to develop intelligence on the TFOB customers and delivers insights on how to attract and retain customers making recommendations based upon research findings to drive the voice of the customer into the GTM agenda.  This position also measures the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies while ensuring that marketing research supports the strategic objective of the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Works with the Digital and Business Intelligence Manager and the Growth team to plan and execute all digital marketing activities, including paid digital marketing, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Improve the effectiveness of campaigns through scientific segmentation and targeting, response measurement, calculation of return on investment, and further refinement based on outcomes.
  • Work with the Growth team on the upper funnel brand awareness campaigns to ensure success metrics can be achieved in both the upper and lower funnel.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spending and performance based on the insights.
  • Manage the full paid media budgets inclusive of performance marketing and brand awareness media.
  • Manage the weekly & monthly reporting of paid media results in collaboration with Digital Marketing and BI team members
  • Set up tracking mechanisms to track the effectiveness of individual pieces of creative for ongoing optimization, plus tracking mechanisms to track the cost of acquiring each new customer.
  • Work with the marketing and communications team to develop a creative testing framework to determine the “always on” messaging strategy.
  • Own the relationships with our media agencies and partners.
  • Create and manage a content calendar for paid performance channels.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies with the GTM team
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, or Business
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
  • Strong creativity, analytical skills, and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Digital performance marketing (search engine marketing, display, affiliates, social)
  • Demonstrable experience in driving business metrics to agreed budgets.
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, prepare and interpret reports, and communicate actionable results, findings, and recommendations.
  • Meticulous organization and attention to detail, ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, teamwork, and relationship building.
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing principles such as funnel optimization and experience in running A/B tests for campaigns and deriving customer insights
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ad words campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)
