Forklift Operator

Facilitating the movement of goods within the Warehouse, between plants and departments.

KEY DUTIES

 - Ensuring that goods and raw materials are transferred between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas in the factory.

 - Organizing and securing stroed materials such as barrels, pallettes etc.

 - Loading or unloading materials manually on or off to pallettes and factory platforms, ramps, skids etc.

 - Performing routine post and pre inspections to observe working nature of the forklift.

 -  Consulting and working with the Plant Manager and Coordinator regading loading and unloading operations.

- Assisting with any other related warehouse work and duties once the forklift is not in use. 

REQUIREMENTS

At least 2 - 3 years experience in operating a forklift

A certificate or prior certified training in forklift operations will be considered an asset.

Class 4 License or higher is mandatory.  

Must be able to work on a shift basis. 

Knowledge of HSE and ISO 9001 will be considered an asset.
