CREDIT SUPERVISOR

CREDIT SUPERVISOR 

The Credit Supervisor is responsible for monitoring all hire purchase accounts, maintaining collections and arrears percentage in accordance with company guidelines, assisting the Branch Manager with the daily operation of the Store including inventory management, providing exceptional customer service and maintenance of good staff relationships.

 

Requirements & Key Competencies:

·       Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution

·       Supervisory management certification

·       A minimum of three (3) years working experience in Credit and collections at a supervisory level

·       Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications

·       Be familiar with reconciliation of accounts and computerized accounting packages

·       Good interpersonal skills

·       Good oral and written communication skills

·       Must be able to work with flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct final interview with potential hire purchase customers, to ensure that data imputed is accurate and that all financial details are clearly explained to customers prior to approval or processing of contract.
  • Managing delinquent customers account and implement strategies to reduce delinquency
  • Maintain arrears and collection percentage in accordance with company guidelines

·       Perform end of day procedures electronically

  • Ensure that all external Regulations as it relates to the Retail Industry are adhered to
  • Ensure that the Company’s internal controls are adhered to at all times
  • Responsible for the management of the Store in the absence of the Branch Manager
