BRAND MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
The Brand Manager is responsible for executing the marketing functions of their respective brands, ensuring the development of brand-building activities for the product or products being managed islandwide.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
●Develop and implement appropriate strategies by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, promoting product and services to those markets.
●Lead creative development and stimulus for products in order to accomplish sales targets and ensure consistency with product line strategy.
●Monitor product distribution and consumer reaction.
● Measure the success of marketing campaigns and report the performance of all marketing campaigns against set goals.
●Monitor market trends, provide market intelligence on an ongoing basis.
●Ensure island wide product visibility.
●Communicate with Principals and submit monthly report on product movements.
● Participate in trade fairs, conferences and symposiums whenever necessary.
●Coach and motivate sales personnel to achieve objectives.
●Aid Marketing Manager in developing and implementing appropriate strategies to grow by selecting, segmenting and targeting markets, promoting product and services to those markets.
●Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager in formulating commercial plans for products being managed.
●Provide market intelligence on an ongoing basis.
●Conduct comparative competitor study and recommend changes to ensure that products remain competitive.
●Undertake marketing audits to monitor sales performance.
●Conduct research, analyze data and provide information to management for decision- making.
●Prepare presentations for customers and sales team on products being branded.
●Ensure product visibility in designated locations and communicate product information to the relevant personnel.
●Supervise promoters promoting products during in-store promotions.
●Communicate with Principals and submit monthly report on product movements.
●Participate in trade fairs, conferences and symposiums whenever necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
● A Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, Management or related field,
● At least three (3) years in sales and marketing Brand Management
