Under the guidance of the IT Manager, the ICT Support Technician will work closely with the IT Officer to support all IT-related initiatives.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assign and setup company devices for all new and existing employees.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance through routine diagnostic and periodic assessment of IT equipment.
  • Install, configure and test IT applications, equipment and peripherals.
  • Perform routine servicing of equipment.
  • Liaise with vendors in order to purchase, setup and test equipment.
  • Maintain IT inventory database.
  • Participate in all disaster preparedness/business continuity intitiaves.
  • Liaise with Group IT as and when required for issue resolution.
  • Perform routine checks on company IVR system.
  • Liaise with support from third party administrators as and when required.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent
  • Certificate in PC repairs
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar capacity
  • Knowledge of software support, hardware support and maintenance
  • Knowledge of networking

 

 SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace/Google Docs
