We are a growing Caribbean FinTech Company seeking to hire a talented Digital Marketing & Performance Analyst to our team.

The main purpose of the Digital Marketing and Performance Analyst is to contribute to shaping and executing a strong digital marketing strategy to build the organisation’s brand and acquire new clients. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and running digital marketing campaigns, and monitoring marketing data and performance to ensure the organisation spends the marketing budget efficiently and the organisation targets audiences through successful campaigns across the customer acquisition funnel (e.g., landing pages, application forms, app funnel, etc.) Additionally, the incumbent will interpret results of analytics, derive insights and opportunities, and communicate findings to a broad set of business stakeholders to improve digital marketing strategy and ultimately business outcomes. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

  • Collect and analyse customer, marketing, and web behavioural data from various sources to distil valuable insights for the Growth team
  • Design, test, and deploy targeted campaigns to address major business priorities
  • Responsible for supervising campaign workflows across internal marketing and third-party vendors and analytics
  • Responsible for managing and enhancing company reporting dashboards, collaborating with internal data teams to generate key performance metrics
  • Make sure the marketing campaigns reach the highest possible ROI
  • Advise the IT team by identifying the software needs related to the activities within the Growth function
  • Leverage the power of experts where hard data is absent - Proactively reaches out to all internal experts within the company or the financial group e.g. Group Marketing unit to bring the best of the group’s thinking to the process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the key external subject matter and industry experts or stakeholders to maximise on the reliability of the data.
  • Scope out the required analytic resources develop a primary budget and submit for review
  • Engage with CGO to understand their decision-making processes, strategic objectives and intel needs, and expected outcomes.
  • Model and frame business scenarios that are meaningful and that impact critical business decisions and strategies.
  • Clarify with stakeholders how to appropriately embed the analytic insight in the decision/operational processes of the Growth Team.
  • Work in iterative processes with relevant business personnel and validate analytics findings/insight (discovered findings may appear counterintuitive).
  • Educate the stakeholders within The Growth Team, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results.
  • Help develop an understanding of the principles and the math behind insight generated so as to drive organisational buy-in and use.
  • Expose/explain the rationale for findings in easy-to-understand terms for the business.
  • Follow up with the CGO to validate integration solutions delivered and ensure stakeholder satisfaction and confirm that impact has been delivered
  • Manage relationships with third-party consulting partners e.g. Marketing agencies, Strategy consultants.
  • Maintain an external mindset, actively seek opportunities for the advancement of functional knowledge areas such as digital marketing strategy or performance. These may include books, reputable conferences, workshops, online courses, journals, etc.

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of Marketing Performance monitoring
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles such as funnel optimization UX, SEO & Landing Page optimization with knowledge of key digital marketing KPIs (CPC/CACs etc.) is desired
  • Working knowledge of payment solutions in the market, customer dynamics, industry trends, competitive landscape and dynamics, key industry stakeholders, banking laws, regulations, and procedures related to payment.
  • Familiarity with common martech tools (e.g., Firebase, Data studio, Google analytics, Twillio)

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • First Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Science or a related field
  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience in a digital marketing analytics role
  • Diplomas/reputable professional certifications/professional experience in Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, etc.
