Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative will be the main point of contact for internal and

external customers. He/she will interact with customers via various channels, to provide

information in response to inquiries in addition to the handling and resolution of

complaints. In this key supportive role, you will be tasked to organize and prioritize print

jobs on a daily basis. The successful candidate should possess a proven track record of

creating personalized customer support to all clients through needs assessment, quality

control and the consistent evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Confer with customers by telephone, email, social media or in person to provide information about products or services
  • Use a computer application to manage information by creating and editing invoices and estimates, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and generating reports for review
  • Organize and prioritize print jobs and deliveries based on deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with customers throughout the duration of the service and afterwards
  • Effectively resolve customer related issues that may arise by obtaining details of complaints and offering relevant solutions
  • Maintain customer log in the system by recording details of communication as well as actions taken
  • Work with digital pictures in graphics programs or other applications, including setup and imposition of artwork
  • Become a liaison between internal and external customers by providing support

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 CXCs inclusive of a Grade I or II in Mathematics and English Language
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a customer service role (experience in the printing industry is advantageous)
  • High levels of computer literacy particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using graphic art applications would be an asset
