Marketing Coordinator (VEMCO)

The successful candidate would be responsible for implementing the Trade and Marketing programs of the Division’s Brands to achieve sustainable growth and increased market share.

Job Duties: 

• Prepares weekly, monthly and Sales and Marketing reports and presentations for the Division’s Brands.
• Ensures that price changes for the Division’s products are revised as necessary, accurately implemented on the Company’s ERP software and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
• Prepares Marketing presentations for business reviews with customers and principals.
• Monitor’s expiry dates of stock on hand and implements prompt initiatives to reduce losses and maximize profitability.
• Supports the Marketing team on cross-functional initiatives, work assignments and tasks that align to brand priorities.
• Maintains product catalogs, price lists, promo catalogs, activity code requests, and art files to assist with marketing promotions.
• Be the brand guardian to ensure the business is presenting the brand correctly in all areas and tracks the key drivers of portfolio performance, including financials marketing KPIs and competitor performance, use insights to develop course correction plans as appropriate to ensure targets are met.
• Manages all elements of the Marketing Mix to maximize performance in market, i.e product proposition, packaging, distribution), price & promotions.
• Develops and monitors sales and gross profit forecasts and marketing budgets for appointed brands.

Position Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or any related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications would be an asset.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
