Manager – JCSD Trustee Services
The Jamaica Central Securities Depository (JCSD) (subsidiary of the Jamaica Stock Exchange) seeks to identify a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Manager – JCSD Trustee Services.
In addition to the responsibilities of the leadership, overall coordination and functional management of the Trustee Services Division, the Manager will be required to liaise with Securities Dealers, Fund Managers, Bankers, Corporate Bond Issuers, Institutional Investors, Unit Trust Holders, Noteholders, Accountants, Auditors and Attorneys-at-Law. The Manager will also be required to develop and implement initiatives to drive the Division’s growth and profitability with a view to assisting the Company in attaining its strategic goals.
The responsibilities of the Manager – JCSDTS include (but are not limited to):
(i) Managing the efficient functioning of the Division
(ii) Identifying and managing the risks inherent in a variety of trustee engagements
(iii) Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and industry deal makers
(iv) Drafting and/or reviewing engagement letters, term sheets, offer letters, offering circulars, trust deeds, administrative agreements, notes, debentures, and other constitutive documents
(v) Overseeing all contracts, complaints and other matters relating to engagements, while ensuring adherence to policies & procedures
With at least three (3) years Legal experience or Trust Administration experience, the candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
The successful candidate would also have:
(i) The ability to meet “fit and proper” criteria, as required by the Securities Act.
(ii) Sound knowledge of:

(iv) Strong analytical and conceptual skills
(v) Effective organization and planning capabilities
(vi) Strong business acumen
(vii) Excellent computer skills
(viii) The ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimum supervision
