Marketing & Communications Specialist

The Caribbean’s Premiere Salesforce Development Organization is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, who will coordinate, execute, monitor, and measure the association’s marketing and communications efforts under the direction of the Director. The individual should be an excellent writer and have experience in social media. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is energetic, organized, creative, and self-motivated to join our busy marketing department.

 JOB BRIEF:

The incumbent will develop and drive a portfolio of integrated marketing and communications strategies to optimize revenue generation and customer loyalty for TGL Group of companies.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with business leads to fully understand product and communication needs.
  • Crafts, with the input of the marketing team and TGL executives, marketing plans for TGL Group.
  • Gather the materials necessary to understand the product/service and competition in the market; analyzes to determine the most effective communications strategy.
  • Based on assessment, drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.
  • Presents design ideas and recommendations to TGL executive and sales team.
  • Creates and coordinates multimedia packages.
  • Review and supervise the work of the creative team in the production of all web, print, and digital marketing collateral.
  • Composes draft speeches for senior management and assists with finalizing speeches.
  • Develops film scripts and schedules and coordinates film production.
  • Evaluates success of campaigns when completed.
  • Attends trade shows and community fairs and staffs the company booth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills'
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • 2-3 years developing and implementing marketing plans/campaigns.
  • 2-3 years experience in digital marketing.
