Responsible for the selling of AMPLIA Communications’ suite of products and services to potential customers via targeted store visits across Trinidad and Tobago.

JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Sales Agent will be primarily responsible for the selling of AMPLIA Communications’ suite of products and services to potential customers via targeted store visits across Trinidad and Tobago. This role will include active engagement of customers at defined locations to achieve set targets, working closely with customers to determine their needs and closing sales within the retail space.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To uphold the reputation of the Amplia brand in select retail stores and establish a presence within these stores
  • Exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Assist with in-store promotional activity to drive lines of business
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and customer service
  • Assess customers’ needs and transfer in-depth product knowledge including features, benefits, and overall value to customers
  • Accurately records prospect information and maintains listing of potential clients
  • Accurately records/receives customer orders and application forms
  • Achieves sales objectives while providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Provides relevant responses to customers concerns, service requests, products and service enquires based on facts related to the Company's products or services
  • Responsible for executing sales strategies to receive new customer business through cold calling and sign-ups via face-to-face interactions at store locations and sales events
  • Offers support at retail locations as necessary to increase brand awareness and generate new business through daily interaction and event execution 
  • Collaborates with other departments (internally and externally) to meet sales objectives
  • Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager or any other delegated authority based on operational needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of five (5) CSEC passes including Mathematics and English A
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a similar sales role
  • Good understanding of Internet/IPTV and Fiber Optic technology will be an asset
  • Strong performance, team, and target orientation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Industry knowledge an asset
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry would be an asset
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Proven track record of success in similar role
  • Valid Driver’s permit and access to a vehicle; role will entail driving to various locations
  • across Trinidad & Tobago
  • Available to work on weekends and public holidays  
  • Available to work beyond normal office hours in accordance with sales objectives
  • Ability to stand for long hours to facilitate customer engagement and sales achievement at various off-site locations
  • Must be in possession of a Police Certificate of Good Character
