Marketing Officer LASCO Microfinance Limited

The incumbent is responsible for implementing plans and initiatives relating to the brand, customer experience and loyalty to drive the organization’s brand equity.

Major Job functions:

• Develop and implement internal and external marketing programs for the Loans Services divisions.
• Support the Loans Sales and Marketing teams in the achievement of the business objectives and targets by providing marketing support through strategies and initiatives.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly reports and analysis of the Loans sales activities and competitive reports.
• Analyze Loan products and seek/outline market opportunities for market penetration in conjunction with marketing department and branch managers.
• Analyze market trends and forecasting industry development that may impact offline and online marketing activities and emerging market needs.
• Arrange the effective distribution of marketing and promotional materials and maintaining an updated inventory.
• Ensure that the key locations have current POS materials, communication and branding, merchandising and signage is present, visible and up to date.
• Conduct market research and mystery shopping to identify market requirements for current and future products; using customer question and focus groups etc.
• Assess alternate market research channels.
• Design, collect and analyze customer satisfaction and feedback.
• Implementing innovation strategies to grow customer awareness, drive higher and maintain customer retention and loyalty

Required Skills/Competencies:

• Strong research and analysis skills
• Strong and confident communicator; must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Sound networking skills
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and focused
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Must be able to work extended hours and be willing to travel island wide
• Must own and operator reliable motor car

 Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any other relevant field
• A minimum of two (2) years related work experience
• Campaign and/or project management skills
