Operations Supervisor

To coordinate the reliability and availability of production assets, personnel and equipment to support the operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participates in the development of monthly production plans and drives the execution of the plans.
• Prepares daily work plans to mitigate production variances and to optimize production.
• Develops and monitors the shift plans for the frontline Production, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical & Instrumentation technicians.
• Oversees assets operational capability and mechanical equipment availability to achieve production plan targets.
• Monitors the efficiency of the operational assets using Key Performance Indicators and dashboards. 
• Participates in reviews of cost challenges including operating and maintenance expenses.
• Participates in reviews of supply contracts to satisfy the needs of the business, including external utility service providers.
• Partners with the maintenance team to identify, prioritize, schedule and support routine maintenance work.
• Provides recommendations on infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
• Reviews and promotes consistency of operations, application of policies/procedures and accountability across all business units.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• Engineering Technician's Diploma.

Minimum Experience

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in oil and gas production operations.
