Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Managing large amounts of incoming calls/chats in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Responding to inquiries from customers about their newspaper subscriptions, bills, cancellations, delivery query, subscription changes etc.
  • Assist customers with their inquiries on future subscriptions or anything on the account’s services
  • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services
  • Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Providing accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Participating in all refreshers, reviews or courses for policies, procedures, system and method updates and regulations as required..

We require that you have:

  • Customer service related HEART Level-II Certificate or minimum of four (3) CXC/GCE subjects, including English Language and a numerical subject.
  • City and Guilds Mathematics and English accepted
  • Minimum 6months - 1-year experience in customer service. Experience in the BPO industry would be an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Government ID, NIS, T.R.N
  • Ability to type a minimum of 26wpm with a 90% accuracy
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
  • Reliable internet speed of at least 15 Mbps upload speed and 5 Mbps download speed
  • A quiet and private work environment free from distractions if required to WAH
