HUMAN RESOURCE RECRUITMENT AND COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all facets of recruitment, including advertising vacant positions and identifying and shortlisting qualified candidates. He/she will also    conduct various recruitment activities by effectively partnering with the General Manager, Human Resources Manager and Heads of Divisions/Departments to ensure that the recruitment process is aligned with company objectives, values and principles.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Planning and executing recruitment drives on and off location to meet the needs of the departments.

• Networking extensively with learning institutions, Labour Departments and other Government agencies to ensure access to the best candidates for the location.
• Developing and maintaining a database of qualified candidates.
• Recruiting, selecting and shortlisting candidates.
• Assessing turnover and collaborating with Human Resources Manager, General Manager and Learning Managers on retention strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with all Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Conducting and reporting on intra-HR department compliance assessments and audits.
• Providing guidance on all Human Resource Compliance matters.
• Assisting in training team members on compliance guidelines, requirements and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in an HR function.
• Recent experience recruiting in multiple disciplines and levels, including hiring for leadership positions.
•  Creativity when sourcing candidates is critical – using niche sites, social media, etc.
• Must be able to work with tight deadlines, strong sense of urgency and deliver under pressure.
• Well developed and highly effective organisational skills and attention to details
• Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports.
• Experience in working with applicant tracking systems.
