VILLA AND MARKETING MANAGER IN OCHO RIOS AREA
Description:
As a Villa Manager you are required to exceed guests’ satisfaction by providing highly personalized, efficient and responsive service with attention to details. The position will report to the Directors and Project Manager and is responsible for leading all Villa Staff and managing the day-to-day operation of the property. The individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing programs. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with at least 3 years’ experience in the villa / hotel industry and who is proactive, organized and self-motivated. He / she will be responsible for achieving aggressive marketing and sales objectives and developing strong ongoing relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Manage the daily operations of the Villa
• Manage the development and motivation of staff members
• Implement training programmes and ensure staff procedures are adhered to
• Ensure that the villas and grounds are maintained to a high standard
• Liaise with booking manager to maximize guest experience
• Take leadership of the villa including supervising, directing, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the villa
• Keep close contact and coordinate with the different contractors as matters arise
• Prioritize and be proactive in planning
• Communicate efficiently with and update the Project Manager on matters relating to
the company/villa that need addressing
• Perform monthly villa inventory exercises and monitor quality control
• Report and manage the need for repairs and maintenance of the villa and amenities in a timely manner
• Ensure that the villa is always in a state of readiness for guest arrivals and site inspections
• Produce and submit monthly reports to the Directors and Project Manager
• Market the villa via social media channels e.g. Instagram and Facebook
• Adhere to procedures and protocols and ensure that all statutory requirements are understood and followed
Qualifications:
• Be a graduate of a tertiary institution
• Have at least 3 years’ experience at management level
• Have experience in tourism/hotel industry
• Have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Be computer literate with proficiency in Excel and Word
