Responsible for installation, screening, maintenance, repair or removal of terminals and other lottery related technical equipment at Agent locations, in the field or in Retail Office. Maintain effective functioning of equipment and ensure continuous operation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for transporting, installing, and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner .

 

  • Installing, maintaining and servicing terminals and/or equipment at Retailer Agents in the field as needed.

 

  • Compiling and maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment and preparing timely reports.

 

  • Conducts preventative maintenance in a timely manner. Collects and screens equipment in the field.  Repairs and troubleshoot faulty terminals and equipment.

 

  • Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field.  This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or repairing the malfunctioning component.

 

  • Ensures retailer Service calls are routed to DCA Hotline for accurate tracking.

 

  • Communicate effectively  with Office Managers, Agent Reps to accurately report activity, arrival and departure times and problems, details, and resolutions of failures.

 

  • Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, ribbons, betslips, etc. to Agents and track inventory of these items.

 

  • Deliver shipments of consumables and lottery related material and equipment to warehouse and maintain inventory of same being added

 

  • Ensure warehouse is maintained in an orderly and tidy manner

 

  • Arrange of the disposal of obsolete material from the warehouse

 

  • Provide report on warehouse activity by updating Warehouse Inventory log and submitting to Office Manager monthly

 

  • Assist with installation and dismantling  of signage and promotional material and POS in the field and at promotional activities

 

  • Deliver basic On-the -job Training to new Retailers or new employees on  refresher/remedial training to Agent Operators who may be performing procedures incorrectly, on the use and maintenance of terminals.

 

  • Meet and work with Retailers and with members of the lottery staff to ensure the achievment of customer satisfaction.
  • Complete basic forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for improvements to procedures, etc.

 

  • Examine equipment brought in to the depot/office by other FSTs for repair and perform more extensive troubleshooting procedures, according to IGT guidelines, to restore terminals to working condition.

 

  • Pack, ship, and receive equipment to and from repair centers or other sites to support the product repair workflow.

 

  • Reports to and provides updates to the Field Service Manager and the Retail Office Manager on a regular basis (weekly).

 

  • Follow IGT vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.
