ROLE PURPOSE
Develop and execute sales strategies for IT Solutions to meet the business needs of our clients customers in Antigua, Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. Ensuring the delivery of quality service to customers/clients in accordance with established standards, policies and business practices
Key Accountabilities
▪ Responding to requests for information, quotations and proposals and ensuring same are
completed in a timely and professional manner.
▪ The timely preparation and submission of accurate reports to include pipeline reports, project costs, required for the Business Unit’s reporting requirements.
▪ Consulting and developing customer-oriented solutions by providing pre-sales and postsales support either directly or through supporting Business Units and team members as appropriate to ensure satisfaction of customers and clients.
▪ Seeking out and building relationships within assigned territories and assigned accounts or
account types to ensure mutual benefit from the relationship.
▪ To develop accurate forecasts for the scheduled closure of sales in addition to the monitoring of expenditures and revenues against appropriate budgets.
▪ The identification and introduction of new products and services to the market by maintaining up-to-date information on the relevant market and the company’s solutions' offering.
▪ Assisting with the conducting of market analysis and benchmarking studies for various
competitor products, giving consideration to price levels, market penetration, tooling and
external factors.
▪ To support the implementation of product and pricing strategies.
▪ Identify and develop promotional opportunities for the company’s products and services.
▪ Developing and managing relationships with partners and clients by maintaining regular
communication with key influencers and decision makers
▪ Management of the entire sales process to ensure minimal receivables exposure.
▪ Ensuring the delivery of quality service to customers/clients in accordance with established
standards, policies and business practices.
▪ Attend Business Unit and other team meetings as required
Education, Skills and Experience
• First Degree or relevant qualification in a related field
• Minimum of five (5) years’ sales experience in the industry and in managing and
sustaining business relationships at different levels
• Working understanding of such technologies as network fundamentals
(LAN/WAN/Wireless), data storage systems, Data Center servers and Virtualization
• Ability to apply a consultative sales approach with a strong understanding of valueadded selling and familiarity with solution selling techniques
• Fundamental business knowledge; financial statements, common business knowledge
• Ability to accurately forecast pipeline and achieve targets
▪ Ability to develop and execute strategies for account penetratio
n
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills
▪ Excellent inter-personal relationship and sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills
▪ Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
▪ Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
▪ Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft office
▪ Manufacturer certifications such as Cisco, HP, NetApp, VMware etc would be an asset
▪ Possession of the required documents to facilitate regional and international travel
