This is a Senior Management position responsible for managing the operations of the Caribbean Region (Trinidad, Barbados, Aruba, Jamaica, USVI) within Food Service, Meat. Bakery and Produce Departments
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for "Other Business" Departments (OB's) results throughout the region as measured against budgets for the various areas.
- Ensures the production plans, inventory management and all other key areas are effectively managed in every territory
- Oversees the direct activities of the Fresh Foods Managers in the Caribbean Region
- Manages reporting from regional clubs to ensure timeliness and completeness
- Overseas sales margins and controls the P&L of the operations while expanding and growing the business in cost effective, innovative ways
- Manages Fresh Food Managers' performance and reviews training needs as required in each territory.
- Analyzes earnings and losses of the departments throughout the region and report any loss in inventory
Qualification
- Degree in Business Administration, Management or similar areas
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of yield management, production planning and inventory control in fresh food areas
- HACCP certification will be considered an asset
- Minimum three (3) years experience in a management role preferably in the retail environment
- Travel may be required
