The successful candidate will be required to oversee all shift operations of the plant ensuring KPIs are met by driving processes that will maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:
Builds a high performing team by establishing and monitoring KPIs, developing, coaching, disciplining and appraising employees.
Ensures the manufacture of finished products in accordance with defined quality procedures and specifications.
Oversees the efficient execution of defined production schedules, which ensures the timely availability of finished goods and facilitates, in-full satisfaction of demand.
Reviews production plans, identifies potential production roadblocks, and communicates with stakeholders throughout the plant to facilitate solutions.
Makes available all resources required for efficient execution of production activities.
Collaborates with the Maintenance Team to drive equipment performance and reliability by reviewing detailed metrics, identifying, developing, and implementing the most efficient line start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures.
Identifies, develops, and implements solutions aimed at improving product processing and packing efficiency.
Accurately accounts for raw and packaging consumption to define BOM’s and SKU standard costing.
Position Requirements:
An undergraduate degree in Production or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of ten (10) years within a food manufacturing environment with packaging and
processing equipment. Three (3) years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of QA and Safety principles, concepts, systems, industry practices and standards.
Experience in reviewing the results of QC tests.
In-depth knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office suite programs
