Job Profile: Digital Product Manager – Utilities

 

Objective of the role:

  • Individual will be responsible for the digital products and services under the Utilities Portfolio i.e. MDA and Billo
  • Oversee daily, weekly and monthly targets, ensuring performance is above average across the lines.
  • This role is responsible for the daily management of Utilities Digital services that are live within the Jamaica Market
  • In addition, this role will be responsible for management of deployment of any new digital products within the market.
  • The role will involve defining and delivering on commercial strategy in conjunction with the commercial team but mainly managing the product in close contact with the partner/vendor and the wider Digicel teams.
  • This role will own the end to end management of the product from deployment to driving growth within the market.
  • Role will also include supporting content and marketing to create and launch engaging campaigns to push the product throughout our ecosystem.

 

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the digital utility applications including requirements definition, content management, reporting, reviews and ratings monitoring etc.
  • Provide support to the market to ensure product is properly promoted and included in the products portfolio of the market.
  • Work in collaboration with the Commercial and Marketing team to define the strategy of the product as part of the overall social and news strategy.
  • Work in conjunction with the other digital teams to ensure alignment on KPIs and strategy and develop cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop the best experience for our customers.
  • Develop processes and governance to ensure content on the app is always relevant and up to date.
  • Be always up to date with industry news and new technologies to ensure we always provide the best experience to our customers.
  • Regular presentations on the strategy to markets Commercial Directors and Group Senior Leaders

 

 

Academic qualifications and experience required:

  • B.Sc. in Marketing, Economics, IT, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Digital knowledge that spans across a range of digital channels and products including digital advertising, social media and apps development
  • Deeper knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Firebase and Google Analytics
  • Experience in agile development methodologies
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in the digital music industry is a plus
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a digital role for a leading brand with proven experience of successful products launches
