COMPLIANCE OFFICER
THE JOB
The Compliance Officer (CO) ensures that the company complies with its external regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and bylaws.
The CO has a duty to the organization to work with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory risks.
The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all corporate processes and procedures comply with the law, internal standards, procedures and protocols.
The Compliance Officer actively monitors and drives compliance management, thereby assisting the organization to mitigate the risk of violating applicable laws and regulations, thus exposing the group to potential reputational damages and fines.
The Compliance Officer ensures that the company stays abreast of regulatory standards and fulfills the role of an in-house expert, keeping an eye on all related developments while ensuring that compliance processes are fully implemented.
