The Stores Clerk will be working with a team to receive, sort, pack, and distribute goods to meet the operational demands of a dynamic and growing organisation.
Job Title: Stores Clerk
Reports to: Stores Supervisor
Purpose: To effectively support all administrative functions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Responsible for receiving, tracking, processing, and routing of stakeholder correspondences, which includes but not limited to: Emails, phone calls, and documentation (Delivery Notes, Stores Issue Slips, Material Requisitions, Purchase Orders)
● To develop and maintain an effective and comprehensive filing system and document registry to satisfy the operational demands, which includes but is not limited to Delivery Notes, Stores Issue Slips, Material Requisitions, Purchase Orders.
● To assist in the development, execution, and maintenance of a comprehensive inventory management system, which will include First in First Out (FIFO), inbound and outbound inventory.
● To be responsible for housekeeping for centralized and remote sites.
● To be responsible for handling of all goods which includes (but is not limited to) the placement, packaging, labeling and authorized dispatch (inclusive of approved fluids).
● To adhere to all policies and management systems (MS) guidelines.
● To execute all and any additional duties assigned by management that will facilitate the furtherance of this job description.
To assist, as needed, in the development of all Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality (HSEQ), and Operational Management Systems (MS’s).
HSEQ Responsibilities:
