ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Business Relationship & Sales Manager at JN Bank. The incumbent will be responsible to create, build and leverage business relationships to generate sales for the JN Group, adopting a tactical approach to executing assigned targets.  He/she will be fully focused on Business Development & Lead Generation (identify and develop high level business opportunities with existing high end members/customers and other prospects); execution of Sales Programmes and Relationship Management (work with prospects and members/customers to build long lasting relationships and to enhance JN Group’s profile in the financial services market).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create strategies and plans to cross sell products and services within JN Bank.
  • Develop and execute sales promotions activities, and lead presentations to various strategic groups within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement strategies geared at maintaining strong and lasting relationships with existing customers for business retention.
  • Proactively meet with customers within the portfolio – face to face and over the phone - to continuously explore their financial needs and provide product and service recommendations.
  • Partner with the Marketing & Brand Management Department and other key personnel within the JN Group to ensure our customers get access to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs.
  • Assist with creating and editing sales tools to enhance selling success, including collateral, presentation materials, company/industry profiles, business partner contacts and information vehicles, etc.
  • Prepare weekly sales performance reports and provide monthly sales report to the Executive – Business Sales/Acting Head of Sales.
  • Implement strategies to facilitate and ensure smooth flow of Customer Service Delivery consistent with JN Bank Standards
  • Assist with the development of Sales Plans for assigned locations and conducting consistent review to ensure achievement of targets
  • Support initiatives and monitor internal controls of assigned locations to ensure adherence and compliance of policies and procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Accounting or related discipline, with at least five (5) years supervisory experience in a financial institution

OR

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting or related discipline, with at least three (3) years supervisory experience in a financial institution
  • Training in Supervisory Management
  • Training in Customer Service
  • Training in the JN Preferred Way of Selling/Personal Banking
