Job Opportunity:
Codrington College, the Theological College of The Church in The Province of The West Indies, invites applications from suitably qualified tertiary-level teachers for a full-time appointment in Biblical Studies (The New Testament) to commence in academic year 2022/23.
Eligibility:
The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of the following Programmes in Theology, that are offered by the University of The West Indies: The Licentiate in Theology (LTh), Bachelor of Arts (BA) Theology, Master of Arts (MA) Theology, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Theology. Additionally, he/she is expected to be actively involved in the life of the College Community.
Education:
The successful candidate shall be a post-graduate of a recognized University, having earned a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) Theology (Biblical Studies, New Testament), with a proficiency in Old Testament Hebrew and New Testament Greek.
Skills and Abilities:
The successful candidate must have good communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills, including the ability to teach New Testament Greek. He/she must have at least three (3) years of teaching experience in a reputable college or university and be interested in productive scholarly research and publication.
