Marketing Coordinator
The Students’ Loan Bureau (SLB) invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following position:
Marketing Coordinator (Grade 3A)
The incumbent is responsible for:
- Providing innovative marketing strategies to promote the SLB’s brand and increase its market share thereby supporting the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives;
- Achieving operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to the strategic planning and review processes; preparing and completing action plans.
- Meeting marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assisting in the preparation of an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Conceptualizes and implements strategies that will create and/or enhance brand awareness and loyalty in order to strengthen the Bureau’s position within the marketplace.
- Creates marketing campaigns and work with the Bureau's internal and external PR teams to see them executed.
- Creates and develops innovative ways to communicate the Bureau’s message to existing customers.
- Contributes input to the annual sales and marketing plan.
- Plans and project manages marketing events and evaluates their success.
- Develops and implements an internal marketing programme.
- Supports the marketing manager in day to day marketing activities.
- Plans, develops and delivers campaigns as agreed within timescales.
- Attends meetings and functions as requested, to represent the Bureau.
- Assists with the development and implementation of social media content to build and sustain the Bureau’s brand and social media presence.
- Conducts trend analysis through research on the Bureau’s customer base and market environment in order to report on the Bureau’s current performance and to inform growth strategy development.
- Coordinates and participates in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
- Assists with the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy.
- Organizes the updating and publishing of all SLB promotional material, including brochures, flyers, banners, handbooks and other paraphernalia.
- Develops a system to track marketing campaigns, online activities and competitor activities in order to keep abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Management Studies (majoring in Marketing) or related course of study.
- At least two (2) years’ working experience in a marketing and/or customer service environment.

Remuneration Package
- Basic Salary $2,133,908.40 - $2,909,875.28 p.a.
