Reporting to the Site Manager the incumbent in this position is responsible for supporting the administration sales and accounting in the Lottery Retail Sales Office. Depending on the site the position may involve some supervision of retail staff

Overall Objective and Purpose:

Reporting to the Site Manager the incumbent in this position is responsible for supporting the administration sales and accounting in the Lottery Retail Sales Office.  Depending on the site the position may involve some supervision of retail staff     

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for office administrative and clerical functions.
• Receive, review for completeness and maintain Agent Files.
• Responsible for payroll coordination in respective office.
• Responsible for accounting related support including preparation of prize payments and timely forwarding of bills and notices to Corporate office.
• Copies and scans all Accounts Payable and backup and forward to Corporate weekly.
• Assisting with A/R management by contacting Retail Agents weekly to ensure deposits are made.
• Ensure Cash receipts from Agents and Retail Office Sales are in balance on a daily basis with reconciliation of reports from the Marketing Department and tickets sold in the Retail Office. 
• Responsible for reviewing and auditing all Petty Cash activities. 
• Ensure all revenue collected by Field staff and Cashiers is deposited to accounts.
• Ensure that Cashier reconciliations and daily instant tracking documentation is completed thoroughly to prevent risk to company 
• May be required to issue and manage inventory of Instant Tickets.
• Responsible for coordinating monthly remittances to statutory companies
• Must monitor sales performance and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures in retail offices.
• Substitute for and support Cashiers and Agent Reps the site as requested by Management. 
• Responsible for supervision of Cashiers and retail store operation 
• Assist Site Manager by ensuring adequate coverage of office or operations ensuring proper compliance with policy.
❖ Performs any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Requirements:

• Associate degree or certificate and at least 3 years experience in Business Administration, Accounting, Sales & Customer Service 
• Organized and attentive to detail
• Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office programs 
• Strong communication skills
