Job Summary
Profiles Caribbean Inc. is seeking to recruit a dynamic and innovative financial services sales professional on behalf of our client, a leader in the financial services industry regionally. The successful candidate will be responsible for playing a major role in guiding the creation and implementation of the company’s regional sales strategy and operational initiatives. Key performance indicators would include sales, growth versus projections, client service quality, and innovation re: business development initiatives.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities summary
- Set business strategy targeting the development of new business.
- Manage the creation, implementation, and control of budgets.
- Monitor and manage performance versus plans.
- Provide adequate reports and communicate with the executive team as required.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Managers in each location to develop regional business solutions.
- Prioritise winning, and servicing regional business accounts.
- Lead initiatives to promote revenue earning activity and profitability.
- Promote a sales culture working collaboratively with the Account Executives.
- Help to drive innovation throughout the business.
- Manage customer communications to ensure that timely and effective action is taken in relation to customer queries and direct business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of Financial Services Authorities in each geographical location in which the company operates.
Requirements
- ACII, CIP, CPCU or other Insurance and/or Risk management qualification.
- Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management.
- Ten years of experience in an Insurance role.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering results, providing sound leadership, managing change, motivating staff, demonstrating business savvy, and effective decision-making.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Sound knowledge and experience in relation to contracting and negotiating.
- Re-engineering acumen.
- Competence in relation to developing financial plans, analysing, and interpreting financial data, and managing resources.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Experience working with a flexible schedule
- Ability to travel on company business when required.
