CHANGE MANAGER OPERATIONS 

 

An exciting opportunity awaits you within the National Health Insurance Board (NHIB) in the post of Change Manager Operations.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing initiatives that will help to facilitate change management process and redesign and build capacity within the NHIB.

 

Role of the NHIB 

The NHIB is a Statutory Body that is primarily responsible for the management of: 

  • The medical Treatment Abroad  Programme on behalf of the Turks and Caicos Island Government.
  • Statutory deductions from each employer and employee within the Turks and Caicos Islands for the purpose of the National Health Insurance Plan (NHIP).

 

Job Summary

As a key change agent, the incumbent will provide a clear change/communication strategy that will help promote buy in by key internal and external stakeholders, thereby achieving timely adoption of initiatives.

This position is located in Providenciales.

 

Qualifications

  • Certification in the Accounting/Finance field (such as ACA, ACCA, CPA,CM or CGMA
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years’ on the job experience latterly in a senior management position (C-Suite) preferably  in insurance  or  health  related  field  to  acquire  the  necessary  competencies  to effectively respond to the challenges of the role;
  • At least 10 years experience in Strategic Planning and Team Leadership is highly desirable.
  • Project management skills, training experience is required.
  • Specific experience working in a change environment with multiple stakeholders and securing their engagement to deliver change;
  • Knowledge of change management and workforce & business re-design;
  • A proven ability to meet targets in a small/medium sized working environment with a hands on approach.
  • Knowledge and experience in establishing a national health account would be an asset.

 

Salary and Allowances: 

Salary is in the range of US$130,000 - $180,000 negotiable based on qualifications and experience. A standard set of benefits and allowances are additional. The contract is for two years with a leaving bonus on meeting agreed targets.
