JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Division: SPORTSMAX LIMITED
Reports to: SALES MANAGER
Overview
The Ad Sales Account Executives will report directly to the Sales Manager and will primarily be responsible to:
- Achieve individual sales quotas, goals and objectives (KPI)
- Develop and enhance working relationships with current customers and new client/partners (KPI)
- Obtain and study information about clients' products, needs, problems, advertising history, and business practices to offer effective sales presentations and appropriate assistance (KPI)
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients to sell new advertising programs and to protect and increase existing advertising (KPI)
- Assist with preparation of promotional plans, sales literature, and media kits
- Represent the brand in the local and regional advertising industry and conduct good business practices that adhere to the Company's policy (KPI)
- Work closely with relevant departmental units to ensure complete execution of client's contract. Top of Form
Key Skills & Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent related experience
- 2+ years of broadcast sales experience
- Proven track record of growing revenue
- Prior experience working with advertisers or agencies that represent those types of customers would be preferred
- Proficient in inventory management (advertising), pricing, and forecasting; advanced knowledge of television sales software systems and processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience in developing and preparing Sales presentation documents, which are client-specific, general and otherwise
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Display confidence, tact and persuasive mannerisms
- Excellent social and networking skills
- Must have critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Must be adaptable and result-oriented
