JOB CAPSULE

Under general supervision, assists the Warehouse Manager / Service Coordinator in the overseeing of the daily operations at a facility for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world-class safety, and business segment efficiency. May supervise several work crews. Assist in the planning, budgeting, and directing of all activities of the stockpoint operation. Skills are typically acquired through a high school diploma and on the job training and a minimum of 5 years stockpoint experience.

Essential Functions

• Supervise & dispatch yard crews
• Create sales orders
• Oversees all inventory quantities and appearance
• Insure proper shipping and receiving of all customer orders
• Promotes positive leadership
• Enforces all HES HSE, corporate, federal and state policies and procedures

Autonomy

Under general supervision: occasional supervision over repetitive tasks. New duties or project-type tasks may receive “Strict” or “Direct” supervision, depending upon the nature of the task(s).

Supervisory Responsibility of Job

Assists in supervising others. Provides basic job training and guidance on a regular basis; performs work of same or closely allied nature (includes coordinators).

Education Level: Diploma-High Sch/Secondary

Work Experience

Experience: 5+ Years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good communication & customer service skills, knowledge of PSL, computer skills - particularly SAP knowledge, supervisory skills

Professional Licensure/Certification Permit Preferred

Licenses/Certification: Fork lift license

Job routinely involves work in the elements, exposure to potentially dangerous, life threatening elements or constantly strenuous work.

Physical Demand Statement

Very Heavy Work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Heavy Work.
