Administrative Assistant
Lex Caribbean (Barbados office) presents an opportunity for a motivated, energetic team player to join our multi-disciplinary law firm and corporate services practice. We are expanding administrative capacity within a dynamic practice group which focuses on a diverse portfolio of regional and global clients. The role will involve a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, many within a specifically legal/corporate context.

The successful applicant will have superb organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and will be rigorous with time management. They will be comfortable supporting other team members but can work independently within their skill set. They will have a focused, enthusiastic approach to training. A painstaking attitude towards the accurate and timely completion of deliverables will be essential. The right candidate will also enjoy working with people, will be an effective communicator and will be highly accountable to colleagues and clients
Qualifications/Experience/References
The applicant must hold an acceptable diploma or certification in the secretarial/administrative field. A paralegal qualification would be a major asset, but is not mandatory. The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a legal assistant/administrative capacity and must have excellent references.
