JOB SUMMARY:

 

The incumbent will oversee the general operations of the Food and Beverage Department of the Club and will be responsible for developing and maintaining standard operational procedures. The individual must be able to anticipate, understand and respond to guest needs through effective and efficient coordination of all activities and services.

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS           

  • Must have a BSc Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant comparative qualifications
  • Must have at least 6 - 8 years of F & B managerial experience in hotel operations
  • Must have the ability to interact with diverse group of clients.
  • Must possess the ability to manage, train and motivate the team
  • Must possess high ethical standards and analytical abilities
  • Must be customer service oriented
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written form
  • Have positive work ethics and attitude
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Must have experience with budgeting, forecasting, other cost analysis and computer literacy skills.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities General

  • Oversee the operation of Food and Beverage  activities, (Restaurants and Bar)
  • Deals with and resolves F & B related  customer complaints and comments
  • Creates an operating environment that assures consistent guest satisfaction
  • Reviewing F & B operational problems affecting Members, Guest as well as staff.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Prepare operational budgets and monitor the same.
  • Assist with strategic planning to increase F & B revenues
  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
  • Provide strategic direction to the Departmental Head on an ongoing basis.
  • Planning, organizing, directing & controlling of work in respective areas of responsibilities
