This position is responsible for providing administrative support in respect of firearm licensing processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration; or equivalent combination of experience and education;
  • Possess 2 years’ experience in General Office Administration;
  • Demonstrated skills in accurate record keeping;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of office management system and procedures;
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment;
  • Good research skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback on administrative requests and queries from stakeholders;
  • Assist with processing applications for new armed guard applicants, employee user’s certificate renewals, transfers and amendments;
  • Assist with processing Private Security Regulation Authority licences for new and existing armed officers;
  • Maintain data for preparation of monthly reports;
  • Communicate all appointments and training schedules for new and existing armed officers;
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system.
