Job description:

Primary objective of the job: 

• Assist with managing bank accounts and banking relationships
• Update bank files in cash Management applications
• Support bank reconciliation process and adjustments required to cash and bank accounts
• Assist with all payments ensuring completeness and maintenance of an audit trail
• Provide insight into reconciliation reports
• Delivering process improvement opportunities in the cash management process
• Providing reporting related to cash flow, forecasting, currency hedging and other cash Management activities
• Reporting on bank balances daily
• Resolution of fraudulent transactions and discrepancies 

 Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Support the maintenance of bank accounts and banking relationships
• Assist all payments ensuring completeness and maintenance of an audit trail
• Support the cash management processes
• Inputs into the cash forecasting process
• Interpreting Treasury reports
• Assist with bank reconciliation accounting policies, processes and operating procedures that are regularly maintained and in compliance with company policy
• Assist with reporting required around Cash & Banking, including reconciliation reports
• Ensuring the accuracy of payments/ receipts recording.
• Monitor and support the cash flow across the various bank accounts, supporting forecasting 

Academic qualifications and experience required:  

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, or any other related field
• Professional accounting or finance qualification
• Three- Five (3-5) years relevant working experience
• Previous experience in cash management and multi-currency environments
• Strong knowledge of relevant geographic banking environments and payments
• Previous experience managing a team with direct reports, as well as supporting the individual performance appraisal process
• Proficiency in using MS products, such as Excel and Word
