Job requirements

• Fully Qualified Special Education Teacher.
• Completed Master SEN training.
• Three years of work experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Can be work independently, or with a team
• Good command of the English language (oral and written).

Target audience

Pupils who have difficulty learning  are supervised within a regular primary school, in a Special Education Group or at a spearte location. These children sometimes also have a developmental disorder and/or behavioral problems. They can receive an indication for special education, after a psychological pedagogical-didactic examination shows this.

Work setting

The Special education teacher  will work in a team with, among others, the remedial teacher, the internal guidance officer, the class teacher and the teaching assistant of the Primary school. The SE Teacher works according to the Development perspective plan and implements group plans.

Competencies

The teacher shows involvement in the relationship with the students and knows how to create a pedagogical climate that benefits the development of the students. The teacher  uses orthopedagogical and orthodidactic resources to stimulate the learning process. The teacher is also able to work with differentiation groups and has good organizational skills, which is also reflected in good class management. The teacher has good cooperation capacity in relation to other professionals and  parents.
