Role Summary: 

The Business Analyst will contribute to strategically aligned projects and support end-to-end project implementation, monitoring and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develops comprehensive, structured and complete business requirements and manages the requirements through the project lifecycle ensuring that benefits are identified and tracked.
2. Performs business impact assessments.
3. Provides detailed analysis of project plans, business cases and business requirement documents
4. Provides input into and supports various project work packages and deliverables including process (re)design and process (re)engineering as required.
5. Provides assistance to line management to assess the impact of business changes on the various roles and ensures that alignment to unit’s strategy is maintained.
6. Manages a review programme for procedures to ensure that all documentation is consistent with current business practices and those changes as a result of formal business initiatives, e.g. projects, are captured.
7. Responsible for the successful implementation of significant business change by the monitoring of activities to ensure smooth implementation with nominal impact.
8. Periodically leads small-to-medium initiatives to ensure that business objectives are met and solutions / initiatives are delivered within pre-specified time and budgetary goals.
9. Acts as the liaison between project managers on regional projects.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications & experience: 

• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Business Analyst participating in projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or relevant tertiary qualifications
• Experience in project management and change management. Certifications will be an asset.
• Technical and data analysis experience
