IBM World Trade Corporation is recruiting a dynamic and results-driven individual from the Caribbean region (Bahamas, Curacao, Trinidad, Barbados or Jamaica) for the role of AI Ops and Integration Sales Leader.
Main Responsibilities:
The AI Ops and Integration Seller is responsible for the coordination and successful execution of all required sales related activities within an assigned territory or set of accounts to achieve assigned financial sales objectives.
This role is focused on expanding IBM’s AI Ops and Integration software & services into a select set of clients in the Caribbean. Activities include working with and leveraging other IBM client facing teams to create demand, identify opportunities, qualify opportunities, and then directly executing high quality professional engagements that result in winning opportunities that achieve assigned targets while providing high value customer solutions.
Seller will represent AI Ops and Integration software portfolio. In this role the candidate is responsible for the identification, development, and assessment of opportunities for potential engagement. Candidate should have a thorough understanding of the nature of business problems in the AI Ops and Integration sector, and the products and solutions that provide value in solving those problems. Also be knowledgeable in the trends and direction of the Sector, the marketplace, and the players.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Applicant must hold at least a first degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Science, Math or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant IT sales and / or consulting experience with proven demonstrated skill and experience with a breadth of Integration and Automation technologies.
- Prior experience in the selling of Integration and Automation products
- Experience selling cloud solutions
- 3+ in a sales organization, business processes and supporting technology is highly desired
- 3+ years Client relationship sales experience
- Experience selling to C-Suite
- Must have proven track record of success in achieving quota as a seller
- Experience selling and the ability to hold business conversations with clients around Solution selling
- Experience managing and closing sales cycles with proficiency in account planning, deal strategy, relationship management, negotiation and personal time management.
- Experience selling at the CIO/CXO level
- Good selling business acumen, business technologies experience
- Solutions oriented mindset and skilled in prospecting into new clients and new buyers
- Understanding of Cloud technologies and/or selling of cloud platforms
- Ability to train, mentor, and coach individuals at various stages of development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Prominent organizational, presentation and time management skills
- Ability to learn and apply product knowledge in a timely fashion

- 3+ years of knowledge around IBM strategic solutions and related processes
