Role Summary

The Office and Operations Supervisor will have responsibility for planning, coordinating and overseeing office services and operations and related activities for the company.

 Duties and Responsibilities Summary

  •  Supervise office staff in the daily operations of the company, maintaining effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders.
  • Assist management in the necessary training, guidance and motivation of staff.
  • Implement and monitor a cross-training plan to ensure adequate coverage of all office activities.
  • Assist in the supervision of employee performance appraisals.
  • Develop, Implement and Maintain current Processes and Procedures in conjunction with management.
  • Analyze workflow issues and implement workable solutions.
  • Perform business support functions such as data management, drafting memos and correspondence.
  • Maintain all office equipment, files and records for effective functioning of office.
  • Plan and coordinate office equipment and supplies acquisition, organization, maintenance and disposal.
  • Perform invoicing, payroll and bookkeeping functions.
  • Maintain records pertaining to inventory, personnel, orders, supplies, machine/equipment maintenance.
  • The expeditious compilation and submission of relevant paperwork and information required by Government agencies.
  • Administer and compile weekly and monthly performance reports.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or equivalent and a minimum two years relevant office and supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures, data management methods, basic accounting practices and human resources practices
  • Excellent computer skills and experience in QuickBooks
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organizing and planning skills
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
