TOLL & SAFETY SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY

The Toll & Safety Supervisor (TSS) is in charge of processing and disseminating the information needed to maintain traffic continuity, ensure personal safety, customer comfort and efficient intervention procedures for the toll plazas and motorway.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Randomly checks toll transactions and monitors activities at each toll plaza, and reports any abnormal situation to immediate supervisor
• Reporting to the immediate Supervisor any situation or development that might require action and anticipating the resources to be implemented.
• Processing and reporting any event or situation requiring special action or vigilance.
• Recording, analyzing, interpreting and transmitting the necessary information on the activities of the users of the highway.
• Monitoring the development of traffic issues and meteorological conditions.
• Monitors the operations of the systems at the toll plaza and/or Management Center.

 Operation and Transmission of Information

• Ensures constant radio or telephone contact with all the persons operating within the system (internal to JNSH O&M Department or external parties e.g. security forces, repairmen, other service providers, etc.) -
• Reminds stakeholders of the instructions and points of the procedure to be complied with as necessary.
• Deals with request for information whether internal or external.
• Records all the situations and significant events on the relevant forms.

Security and Safety

• Periodically checks the surveillance system to ensure the continued safety of motorists on the roadway and members of staff at the Plazas.
• Reports any anomaly found during checks to the relevant personnel for the safety of road users.
• Constantly checks the Toll Management System to ensure functionality

• Check the performance of all the systems making up the toll safety function
• Bachelor’s Degree / Associate Degree or relevant experience in a similar field

• Reports and processes customer infractions.                                

 EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree / Associate Degree or relevant experience in a similar field
