he IT Technician provides frontline technical support and system administration for both onsite and remote users, ensuring quick resolution of hardware, software, and network issues to maintain business continuity and productivity.

The IT Technician delivers frontline technical support and administration for on‑site and remote users. The role ensures timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues, safeguarding business continuity and user productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first‑line response to IT issues via visits, phone, and email. Log and resolve help desk requests, install and configure equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, AV). Train users on new applications and tools.
  • Network Support: Assist with installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of servers, switches, and related infrastructure. Ensure endpoint protection is current. Test and evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware. Manage allocation, retrieval, and lifecycle of company assets.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Record daily transactions, remedial actions, and installation activities. Adhere to IT policies, confidentiality standards, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Relevant college degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ IT field experience; multi‑site environment preferred.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) desirable; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Technical Competence: Strong skills in OS repair, malware removal, hardware upgrades, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Windows servers and desktop environments.
