Job Summary

The HRBP implements HR policies aligned with business strategy, managing recruitment, performance, and employee records while ensuring legal compliance. They advise on HR/IR issues, oversee absenteeism, handle terminations, and foster workplace relationships. The role also supports training, engagement, career counseling, and accurate data management, while working with management to ensure fair promotions, transfers, and reviews.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the performance review process and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Partner with Commercial Managers on recruitment strategies, staffing levels, and peak season hires.
  • Manage HR data and reporting, including HR Plus updates, payroll/personnel records, and compliance with NIS/BIR requirements.
  • Oversee terminations and absenteeism, ensuring compliance with policies and reporting disciplinary matters to the appropriate lead.
  • Provide HR/IR guidance to managers and supervisors while fostering positive workplace relationships.
  • Support employee development by identifying training needs, guiding career growth, and managing probation confirmations and acting appointments.
  • Counsel employees and managers on grievances, wellness, and engagement matters, including EAP referrals.
  • Ensure fair and consistent processes for promotions, transfers, upgrades, and employee requests (letters, benefits, payroll, safety).
  • Monitor HR trends, recommend improvements to HR practices, and contribute to continuous process and policy development.
  • Visit all Stores assigned to the role on a regular basis to keep a pulse on employee sentiments.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Human Resource Generalist, specifically recruitment & selection, performance management and industrial relations.

  • Efficiency with Microsoft Suite.
