Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

The Engineering Manager will develop and manage a planned and preventative maintenance system to improve Production OEE and cost efficiencies. You'll lead a team of engineers, oversee maintenance services, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage the engineering team

- Ensure Health and Safety compliance of all assets

- Supervise maintenance services and support for repairs and efficient operation of equipment, air compressors, vacuum pumps, electrical sprinklers and alarm systems, security systems including cameras. etc

- Drive achievement of Key KPIs (MTBF, MTTR)

- Identify and eliminate long-term chronic issues

- Develop systems to improve asset reliability

- Provide top-level analysis on operations affecting line performance

- Support factory teams and assemble rapid improvement teams

- Manage capital expenditure projects

- Serve as a subject matter expert for risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance and safety across all equipment and manufacturing assets.

- Champion and support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean manufacturing, recycling, and Quick Change Over, to drive efficiency and excellence

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering

- At least 5 years' experience in a production /food manufacturing environment

- Diploma/Certification in Preventative/Predictive Maintenance or Production Management

- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Strategic thinker with forecasting and process improvement skills
